The Overnight Journey of a Parcel

Step 1: Collection Point

Your parcel’s journey begins the moment it’s collected from your door or drop-off point. From there, it’s in safe hands with our local team.

Step 2: Local Collection Depot

Once collected, your parcel arrives at our local depot here in Leyland. This is where we carefully sort and prepare it for the next stage of its journey.

Step 3: National Sortation Centre

Every night, parcels are sent to the APC National Sortation Centre. Here, cutting-edge systems ensure your delivery is routed quickly and accurately to the right part of the country.

Step 4: Local Delivery Depot

After leaving the National Sortation Centre, your parcel heads to the local depot closest to its destination. This is where the final delivery route is planned and prepared.

Step 5: Delivery to the Customer

Finally, your parcel arrives at the customer’s delivery point – on time, every time. But the journey doesn’t stop there, because APC gives customers control and flexibility throughout the process.
